Ali Khabab, a 33-year-old man from Chicago, IL, was tragically shot to death on November 8, 2018. Ali, who had left South Sudan 15 years prior in search of a better life, was standing on a back porch in the West Rogers Park neighborhood when he was fatally shot in the back by two males. The incident occurred at approximately 10:58 p.m., and it was one of several shootings that took place in Chicago that day.
