The circumstances surrounding his death were deeply distressing, as he was the victim of a fatal shooting. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Campbell Lane, within the Fair Oaks Public Housing area. Responding to reports of gunfire, police discovered Gerald Taylor with severe gunshot wounds.
