Tavish Harris, a 30-year-old African American male from Berwyn, Illinois, tragically lost his life on July 21, 2018, in a mass shooting incident in Chicago's East Garfield Park neighborhood. The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. when Harris and six other men were gathered at a park bench in the 3100 block of West Fulton Avenue.
