Eric Concialdi, a 44-year-old male detective from Chicago, IL, tragically died on March 10, 2019. He was found in his home on the West Side of Chicago with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The discovery was made by another officer just before 1:30 p.m. that day. Concialdi, a 16-year veteran of the Chicago Police Department, was pronounced dead at 1:25 p.m. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed that his death was ruled a suicide.
