Arturo Pina, age 37, was shot and killed on April 11, 2016, in the South Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, specifically in the Little Village area. The incident took place in the 2800 block of South Kedvale Avenue. Arturo was walking in the neighborhood when he was approached and fatally shot, contributing to the alarming number of homicides that occurred in Chicago that year.
