Death by Force

Carlos L. Gaddy, a 34-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on March 21, 2018, in the North Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 500 block of North Kedzie Avenue while Gaddy was working on a car in a backyard. According to witnesses and police reports, a gunman climbed onto a garbage bin in the alley and fired at Gaddy, striking him in the head.
