Robert Purdle, a 30-year-old African American male from Peoria, Illinois, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2019. He was pronounced dead at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center following an early morning shooting. The incident marked Peoria's thirteenth homicide of the year. Robert, affectionately known as "Rob G," was born on September 7, 1988, to Jerome Vinson and Angela Purdle. He was a loving father to six children and was known for his positive spirit and love for chess and spades.
