George Robert Zelaya, also known as "Skip," disappeared on January 13, 2005, from his home in Homosassa, Florida. At the time, he was 61 years old. Zelaya was last seen in the early morning hours when he left his residence, and his white 1988 Lincoln sedan was found the next day at a nearby shopping center on Highway 19, with his wallet discovered under the seat. For years, his case remained a mystery, and no significant leads emerged.
