Rico Stringer, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on October 29, 2019, in East St. Louis, Illinois. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. at 400 N. 25th Street, where police responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Rico Stringer with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to a hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
