Alan Jarod Edison, a 30-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in a targeted shooting on January 13, 2020, in Crest Hill, Illinois. The incident occurred in the early morning hours around 6:00 AM in the 1700 block of Arbor Lane. Edison was found critically injured inside a vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Edison's death was the result of multiple gunshot wounds, and the investigation revealed that he had a history of legal troubles.
