Timothy J. Wells, a 43-year-old resident of Crest Hill, Illinois, was the victim of an apparent homicide that occurred on April 11, 2024. The incident took place outside the Arbor Lane apartments, specifically in the 1600 block of Arbor Lane. Wells was fatally shot around 6:30 a.m., and the perpetrator managed to escape before emergency services arrived.
