Desmond Mannie, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on January 15, 2020, in the Fernwood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Mannie was riding his bicycle around 9:20 p.m. in the 700 block of West 99th Street when an assailant in a dark-colored Buick Riviera opened fire, striking him multiple times.
