Christopher Torrijos, a 26-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on September 16, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. Torrijos was celebrating Mexican Independence Day in the South Loop area when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a Jewel-Osco store on South Canal Street.
