Xavier McCoy, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 3, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred at Palmer Park, located in the 200 block of East 111th Street, where Xavier was playing basketball with a group of people. An argument broke out, leading to a violent confrontation. During the altercation, Xavier was shot and killed.
