James Perryman, a 52-year-old African American male, was found fatally shot on April 10, 2020, in the Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of West Lexington Street. Perryman was discovered in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed that he died from multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
