Jahari Hill, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on April 19, 2020, in the South Austin neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. when Jahari Hill and a 17-year-old boy were walking on Van Buren Street. Suddenly, an unknown assailant opened fire, striking Jahari Hill in the face and chest.
