Claude Bobo, a 49-year-old African American man, was found fatally shot on November 1, 2021, in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 11:40 p.m. in the first block of North Long Avenue, where they discovered Claude Bobo lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his chest.
