Andres Avitia, a 20-year-old Hispanic male from Chicago, IL, tragically lost his life on March 1, 2013, due to gunshot wounds sustained in a gang-related shooting. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the Southwest Side Scottsdale neighborhood.
