Jerome Allen, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on September 3, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Uptown neighborhood, specifically in the 1000 block of West Winona Street. Jerome was riding his bike on the sidewalk when an unknown assailant opened fire, striking him multiple times. Despite being rushed to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries. The Cook County medical examiner's office ruled his death a homicide.
