Dion Neal, a 37-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on May 26, 2020, in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Neal was sitting on a porch in the 7500 block of South Chappel Avenue around 7:45 p.m. when he heard gunfire and felt pain. He was shot in the head and arm.
