Walter Brown, a 42-year-old African American male from Chicago, IL, died on July 16, 2020, after being shot on July 1, 2020. The incident occurred in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. On the night of the shooting, Walter Brown was with a 27-year-old man on the front porch of a residence in the 7200 block of South Woodlawn Avenue.
