Machine Gun Jack McGurn, born Vincenzo Antonio Gibaldi, was a 33-year-old Italian-American mobster and hitman associated with Al Capone's Chicago Outfit. On February 15, 1936, McGurn was shot and killed while bowling at the Avenue Recreation Room in Chicago. The gunmen left a mocking valentine at the scene, indicating that McGurn had lost his job, money, jewels, cars, and houses, but at least he hadn't lost his trousers.
