Kevin Baker, a 19-year-old African American male from Chicago, IL, tragically lost his life on January 16, 2014. Kevin was walking with his cousin on the 6200 block of South Campbell Avenue when they were approached by two men who demanded their cell phones. Despite complying with the robbers' demands, Kevin was shot in the head and succumbed to his injuries two days later in the hospital. This senseless act of violence left his family and community in mourning.
