Jule Gastine Dotson, a 48-year-old man, was fatally shot on the morning of December 22, 2024, in the South Chicago neighborhood. The incident occurred around 9:15 a.m. in an alley located in the 8000 block of South Escanaba Avenue. Dotson, who resided in the same block where the shooting took place, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
