Damajia Lashawn Bell, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on September 29, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the South Shore neighborhood, specifically in the 1600 block of East 68th Street. Around 2:40 a.m., Bell and another man were standing on the sidewalk when shots were fired at them. Bell was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The Cook County medical examiner's office identified Bell and ruled his death ...
