Theary Bennett, a 22-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was fatally shot in an incident that occurred on July 31, 2008. The shooting took place around 1:20 a.m. near the intersection of 41st Street and Tracy Avenue. Theary Bennett was pronounced dead at the scene, while three others who were also injured in the shooting were taken to nearby hospitals and were reported to be in serious but stable condition.
