Travis Bester, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on December 23, 2019, in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 10:24 p.m. when officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 700 block of East 106th Street. Upon arrival, they found Bester unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. He was immediately transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
