Kentrell Thompson, aged 25, was fatally shot on January 28, 2017, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident took place at a gas station in the Goose Island neighborhood on the Near West Side. Thompson was sitting in a vehicle at the gas station on North Halsted Street when an unknown assailant approached and opened fire, striking him multiple times.
