Death by Force

On February 13, 2024, Jermaine W. Harris, 39, was fatally shot in Chicago's North Kenwood neighborhood. Officers responded to a call at 12:43 a.m. and found Harris with a gunshot wound to the head on the 1100 block of East 47th Street. He was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
