Reeves K. Johnson III was 31 years old when he vanished from the Kittery, Maine area in early February 1983. He was a White man with brown hair and brown eyes, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 130 pounds, and he wore eyeglasses. He had moved to Kittery from Pennsylvania in 1977, rented a small cabin on Jewett Court, and worked as a welder at Donnelly Manufacturing in Exeter, New Hampshire.
