In the late spring of 2019, a violent encounter in Honea Path, South Carolina, ended the life of 34-year-old Shane Victoria Bowen. On May 25th, on Mountain Creek Road, Bowen sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital for medical intervention, she succumbed to her injuries, leaving a community to grapple with the sudden and tragic loss.
