Michael Ike, a 15-year-old Nigerian-American teenager, was tragically killed on June 22, 2020, in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Michael and a 16-year-old friend were walking in an alley in the 4700 block of West Superior Street. According to reports, the boys were ambushed by gunfire, possibly from a gray sedan.
