Chauncey Malik Ali Jr., a 29-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on August 30, 2020, in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The incident occurred at approximately 3:38 a.m. in the 900 block of West Garfield Boulevard. Chauncey was leaving a party when he was shot in the head.
