Vonta Dion Perry, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 9, 2020, in Joliet, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 200 block of Lincoln Street, where Perry was found on a porch suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries. The Will County Coroner's Office confirmed that Perry died from multiple gunshot wounds.
