Frank Ellis, a 33-year-old male, was tragically shot dead on July 11, 2020, in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. Ellis was outside a home on the 6900 block of South Elizabeth Street when a vehicle pulled up in front of him, and several individuals exited the vehicle and opened fire. He was struck in the back and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries at 8:52 p.m. The Cook County medical examiner's office later confirmed that his death was a res ...
