Devell Alexander, a 32-year-old Black man, was killed in the early morning hours of April 26, 2019, on Chicago's West Side.
Around 2:05 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired on the 5200 block of West Quincy Street in the Austin neighborhood.
Officers found the 32-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, Shukeyina Godfrey, by a vehicle; he was pronounced dead at the scene while she was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital and later pronounced dead.
