DeAndre Fields, a 35-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on October 15, 2020, in Cicero, Illinois. Fields was in an apartment with family members in the 4800 block of 24th Street when he was shot in the abdomen. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Fields lived in West Englewood on the South Side of Chicago.
