In June 1973, Ronald & Theresa Yakimchuk left Edmonton for a wedding in Montreal, driving their 1959 Volkswagen Beetle. It was reported the couple visited an associate in Brandon, Manitoba. They never attended the wedding. The last contact from the couple was a postcard believed to be from Theresa sent from Dryden, Ontario on June 12, 1973.
