On May 2, 2025, Natanis Merasty travelled from Saskatchewan to Edmonton, Alberta, and stayed at the Continental Inn on Stony Plain Road with a group of individuals. She departed from the Continental Inn on May 5, 2025, in the early morning hours. CCTV footage shows her at a nearby 7-Eleven at 02:55 a.m. Natanis has not been in contact with family since that time, which is highly unusual for her. Her disappearance is considered to be of a suspicious nature.
