Tynaz Shorter, a 22-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life in a shooting incident on October 17, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. According to reports, Tynaz was sitting in the backseat of a friend's car when a black Chevrolet approached and someone inside opened fire. She was struck by bullets in her right leg and buttocks.
