Amanda M. "Mandy" Calo, a 31-year-old woman from Chicago, IL, tragically lost her life on January 24, 2022. Amanda was found shot to death inside a vehicle near East 110th and Avenue E on the Far South Side of Chicago. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office ruled her death a murder-suicide, with her estranged husband, Illinois State Trooper Antonio Alvarez, identified as the perpetrator.
