Joanna Gutierrez, a 22-year-old woman from Palatine, Illinois, was tragically killed on August 8, 2018, in a shooting incident in Chicago's West Garfield Park neighborhood. The incident occurred around 3:40 a.m. when shots were fired into the vehicle she was traveling in, causing it to crash into a pillar.
