Martese Jackson, a 19-year-old African American male from Chicago, IL, was tragically murdered on January 31, 2021. The incident occurred while he was traveling in a car in the 4700 block of South Michigan Avenue. According to reports, Jackson stopped to speak with someone who then produced a gun and opened fire.
