Jarrell L. Berry, a 32-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on March 2, 2021, in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 2:40 a.m. while Berry was walking with a group of people in the 7000 block of South Merrill Avenue.
