Nabria Pondexter, a 25-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on March 9, 2021, in Calumet Park, Illinois. The incident occurred around 12:05 a.m. in the 12400 block of South Wood Street. According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Nabria Pondexter suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at 1:03 a.m. An autopsy confirmed that her death was a homicide.
