Danteh Thomas, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on March 26, 2021, in the Wrightwood neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred during an overnight "pop-up party" in the 2500 block of West 79th Street. The shooting, which took place shortly after midnight, resulted in the death of Danteh Thomas and injuries to seven other individuals.
