Hoston Porter, a 57-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on November 10, 2020, in the West Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. He was found around 11 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Gladys Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. Despite being rushed to Stroger Hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed the cause of death as homicide due to the gunshot wounds.
