Andre Leaks, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 6, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. near Robichaux Park on the South Side, specifically in the 9200 block of South Eggleston Avenue. According to the Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Leaks was struck in the head and subsequently transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead.
