Leslie E. Fisher Jr., a 20-year-old African American male from Danville, Illinois, tragically lost his life on September 18, 2021. The incident occurred at Blue Bird's Liquor, located in the 3100 block of East Main Street, Danville. Leslie E. Fisher Jr. was one of the two victims in a shooting that took place around 1:55 AM. The other victim was 21-year-old Charles L. Jones Jr., also from Danville. Both young men were pronounced dead at the scene by the Vermilion County Coroner's Office.
