Ben Sims, a 36-year-old African American man, tragically lost his life on September 21, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred during a home invasion at his residence in the South Shore neighborhood. According to reports, the invasion took place around 5:30 a.m. when three masked individuals forcibly entered Sims' home on the 7500 block of South Saginaw Avenue.
